President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. serves as the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the 76th founding anniversary of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) at Clark Air Base in Mabalacat, Pampanga on July 3, 2023.

Officially established as a separate branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on July 1, 1947, through Executive Order No. 94 series of 1947, the Philippine Air Force traces its origins as early as 1917 during World War I.

This year's founding anniversary carries the theme "PAF@76: Accelerating with Excellence Towards A More Capable, Credible, and Sustainable Force," where the Commander-in-Chief leads the presentation of various awards to outstanding PAF officers, members, and units.
