In a significant development aimed at fostering stronger cooperation and information sharing, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) and the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) came together to ceremonially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The historic event, held at the PIA Building, Visayas Avenue, Quezon City on July 11, 2023, marked a significant milestone in the collaborative efforts of the two agencies to enhance public information dissemination and law enforcement.

During the ceremony, PIA Director-General Jose A. Torres, Jr. and NAPOLCOM Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer Alberto A. Bernardo expressed their enthusiasm for the new partnership and highlighted the shared goals and objectives that would be achieved through augmented collaboration.

PIA and NAPOLCOM are poised to make great strides in their joint pursuit of a secure and well-informed nation.
