President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. officially starts his State Visit to Malaysia as he lands together with First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos at the Bunga Raya Complex in Kuala Lumpur International Airport on July 25, 2023.

With almost six decades of friendship and people-to-people exchanges that date back millennia, the Chief Executive is set to reaffirm the Philippines’ rich bilateral ties with its close neighbor, partner and co-founder in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Upon his arrival, President Marcos Jr. is finally meeting his countrymen in Malaysia as he proceeds to a gathering with the Filipino community convened by the Philippine Embassy under the headship of Ambassador Charles Jose.

The visit, from July 25-27, 2023, is upon the invitation of the King of Malaysia Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
