CAMIGUIN (PIA)--The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Camiguin conducted an Enhancement Training on Contact Tracing, together with the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and Philippine National Police (PNP) for local government units (LGUs) via Zoom platform, June 28.
The topics discussed include the (1) LGU Practice: Baguio City Contact Tracing System; (2) Contact Tracing Data Analytics and Mapping: Baguio City Experience; (3) Cognitive Interviewing; (4) COVID-19 Situation; (5) Stay Safe Application; and (6) Safety Seal Certification.
The training aims to provide contact tracers with advanced guide and practical skills set in conducting case investigation, speedy identification and tracking of close contacts, data management and analysis, and significantly implement effective contact tracing actions.
The participants of the training are the DILG-hired contact tracers, Municipal Health Officers (MHOs), Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) contact tracing teams, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (MDRRMOs), contact tracing teams and other representatives from Camiguin.
Aside from contact tracing, the hired contact tracers of the department are also tasked to conduct information dissemination on COVID-19. (DILG Camiguin/PIA-10)
