TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)—The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte (PGLDN) recently donated 50 gallons of paint to Baroy Central Elementary School (BCES) in Brgy. Poblacion, municipality of Baroy, this province, in support to the Brigada Eskwela 2021-2022.

The donation, which aims to enhance the physical look of the school to make it more vibrant and child-friendly, consisted of 30 gallons of red lead paint, 10 gallons of white latex paint, and 10 gallons of enamel paint.

The paints were received by BCES School Principal Raquel J. Cabusas and District Supervisor Joselito Epe from the PGLDN General Services Office.

"From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the Provincial Government headed by Governor Angging for your kind donation. Your generosity truly displays the heart of Bayanihan as your donation will do so much for the school and most of all to our learners - the main recipients of your benevolence,” Cabusas said.

Despite the challenges and modifications in the education system brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers of BCES still maintain the cleanliness of each classroom to sustain its order and make it more conducive for the students when the face-to-face classes resume.

Accordingly, the paints are essential as they will be using it for repairs and repainting of the classroom roofs, school gym, and other BCES facilities, as well as in landscaping the school ground. (PIO-LDN/PIA-ICIC)
