In strategizing for the next six months, Brother John challenged everyone to “change one’s frame of mind as this makes change happen.” He also encouraged the participants to “think out of the box” which he said usually results in innovations.
The activity also focused on ensuring that the development thrusts of the administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte are integrated into the programs and services of DAR.
“This assessment would also help us evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of CARP implementation not only in Luzon but all over the country,” Bro. John added.
The CARP audit is an annual activity of the DAR to ensure the transparency and accountability of the agrarian reform program.
In his message, Brother John thanked all attendees for their continued support in the Department’s quest to improve the living standards of agrarian reform beneficiaries nationwide. He further encouraged them to be more active in fulfilling their mandates to improve the performance of all DAR offices in Luzon.
“Pour all of your energy into fulfilling your work and be committed to the path you are walking. Move unwaveringly with your colleagues in one clear direction and that direction will lead you and your provinces to achieve your goals,” he said.
“Know that you will always have my complete support as long as you resist any temptation that will taint your character and reputation as public servants of DAR,” Brother John said.
The assessment and management review of DAR offices in Visayas and Mindanao for 2021 will be conducted in the next two weeks. (DAR)
