MANDALUYONG CITY -- The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Bakuna Center in PLMC reaches another breakthrough as it vaccinated 623 individuals yesterday.
According to Mark Abrigo, the Manager of PRC Health Services, 553 clients were vaccinated with Sinovac, 52 were inoculated with Moderna, and 18 individuals were given their first dose of Pfizer BioTech.
“The best protection against COVID-19 is to get vaccinated. If you don’t get vaccinated you may infect the people around you whereas if you get vaccinated, you are not only taking good care of yourself but you are protecting your family, friends, and your community as well,” reiterates PRC Chairman and CEO Sen Richard Gordon.
The PRC continues to ramp up its vaccination efforts as it also expands its Bakuna Centers nationwide. As of July 13, 2021, the PRC has vaccinated more than 28,000 individuals nationwide prioritizing those from the A1 to A5 vaccination priority groups.
