QUEZON CITY --Department of Agriculture (DA) Assistant Secretary for Operations Engr. Arnel V. de Mesa, DA IV-CALABARZON (DA-4A) OIC-Regional Executive Director Vilma M. Dimaculangan, and Rizal Agricultural Research and Experiment Station (RARES) OIC-Station Chief Dr. Orlando A. Calcetas led the inauguration of the Research and Development (R&D) multi-purpose building in RARES on July 14.
The P9,692,348.83 worth R&D building, funded under the Bayanihan Act II, was established to serve as a venue for trainings, meetings, and seminars for farmers, agricultural extension workers, researchers, academicians, students, and other stakeholders. It has a conference room and eight guest rooms.
Tanay Mayor Hon. Rex Manuel C. Tanjuatco, DA-4A Regional Technical Director for Operations and Extension Dennis R. Arpia, Administrative and Finance Division Chief Felix I. Ramos, Regional Agricultural Engineering Division Chief Engr. Marcos C. Aves, Sr., Research Division Chief Eda F. Dimapilis, and other DA-4A staff also joined the inauguration.
