CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)--Despite the limitations on vaccine supply, Cagayan de Oro City passed the 200,000 mark on vaccinations with about 65,748 completing their second dose and 138,350 receiving their first dose as of August 4.
Mayor Oscar Moreno is thankful to the CDO vaccination team as well as the support of the Department of Health (DOH) and the private sector in attaining the city's herd immunity.
The city has recorded the biggest number of vaccinees, August 3, with 6,457 in just a day. On this day, 1,416 were vaccinated at SM Downtown, Robinsons (1,165), and Limketkai (1,142). There are 619 persons deprived of liberty who were also inoculated on the said day.
In the Department of Health/Northern Mindanao Medical Center (DOH/NMMC)-managed vaccination site in Centrio Ayala Mall, 1,740 were vaccinated.
From the private sector, 97 employees of San Miguel Corporation were vaccinated at Capitol University Medical Center while 278 members of the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. got the jabs at Polymedic Medical Plaza. (CIO/PIA-10)
