ILIGAN CITY (PIA)-- The 845.33 meters farm-to-market road (FMR) in Barangay Bunawan in this city has improved the living conditions of local residents as it offers easy access for the mobilization and transportation of agricultural products by the local farmers. 

The FMR has also paved the way to reduce the public transportation cost, specifically motorcycle fare, by P50 than the usual fare range of P200.

The quality and freshness of vegetable products delivered on time resulted in higher income of local farmers. The volume of agricultural produce delivered from Bunawan to Iligan Central Market also holds a significant increase. 

Moreover, when students go to school, they will no longer experience muddy and poor road conditions once physical classes resume. (DPWH-LDN)
