TUBOD, LANAO DEL NORTE (PIA)--Six public schools in this province started the limited face-to-face (F2F) classes after weeks of thorough preparation and evaluation.

Pupils from Kinder to Grade 3 joined the pilot run of F2F classes in Babalaya Elementary School in Bacolod town, Marcela T Mabanta National High School in Kauswagan, Napo Elementary School in Linamon, Dalama Central Elementary School in Baroy, Tambacon Integrated School in Magsaysay, and Masibay Integrated School in Nunungan.

Carlo E Caburnay, school principal of Dalama CES, said they are set for the F2F classes and thanked all the stakeholders for the assistance given to the school in preparing for this day.

"Andam nagyud mi magpa-higayon sa face-to-face classes. Niagi tag daghang monitoring sa DepEd, sa provincial government, ug sa LGU. Atong mga maestra kay bakunado na; busa, maka siguro mi sa mga parents na luwas and inyong mga anak diri sa skwelahan," Caburnay said.

(We are ready to start the face-to-face classes. We underwent various monitoring from the DepEd, provincial government, and the LGU. Our teachers are all vaccinated; therefore, we can guarantee to the parents that their children are safe inside the school)

Meanwhile, Marjorie Arison, from Purok 3, Dalama, one of the guardians of the learners, said that they are happy that limited F2F classes has started.

"Lipay kaayo mi isip ginikanan na naa nay f2f kay para ang mga bata kay ma challege mu skwela og ma kat-on. Wala rako nabalaka kay makita nako na ang mga staff sa Dalama ES kay nag follow gyud sa protocols sa pag disinfect and handwash sa mga bata og salig mi sa mga teachers na atimanon nila among mga anak," she said.

(As parents, we are very happy for the F2F classes for the children to be challenged and encouraged to learn. I'm not worried because I can see that the staff of Dalama ES follow the protocols like disinfecting and handwashing for the children, and we trust the teachers to take care of them.)

"We are very thankful for being chosen as one of the pilot schools for the F2F implementation. As for the preparedness, we are all 100% vaccinated, and the parents and learners have already gone through various orientations," said Katimuan Mamay, school head of Masibay Integrated School in Nunungan town.
