(I am grateful to all our barangay tanods, even if they are volunteers, because our community is more peaceful with them present)

The two-day activity is consists of different lectures and workshops, based on the new manuals and modules provided by the National Barangay Operations Office (NBOO), such as the (1) roles of BTs in peace and order, (2) desirable traits of a BT, (3) different approaches in barangay peacekeeping, (4) basic first aid and firefighting, (5) traffic assistance, (6) basic patrol operations and intelligence gathering, and (7) arrest, search, and seizure with basic hand-cuffing technique.
