LAS PIÑAS CITY -- Dr. Aivee Aguilar Teo of the Aivee Group, in partnership with the Bisaya Gyud (BG) Party-list, spearheaded today Beauty Beyond Borders, a medical-dermatological mission in Barangay Pamplona Tres, Las Piñas City.

Some 200 indigents, who are also beneficiaries of Project Kaagapay, benefited from the activity. Dr. Teo, with her team of doctors and nurses, removed their cysts, warts, and other skin growths.

Kaagapay is a group formed by Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar in 1995 comprised of street sweepers. Dr. Teo praised Kaagapay, claiming that the group is a big help in ensuring the cleanliness of Las Piñas, and that she and her team wanted to give back to them to recognize their sacrifices and hard work.

Aside from free medical and dermatological consultations, the beneficiaries also received t-shirts and giveaways.

The activity was done in cooperation with Mayor Imelda Aguilar, Vice Mayor April Aguilar, and Vera Ville Corporation. It is a project of Dr. Aivee Aguilar Teo with the purpose of helping indigents with skin problems.

BG Party-list headed by its President Victorino Garay seeks to address the lack of economic opportunities afforded to the people of the Visayas and Mindanao through upholding their rights and welfare and by continuing the programs started by the current administration. (BG)
