CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)--The City of Cagayan de Oro, and the provinces of Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental are the main contributors to the economy of Region 10 based on the three-year average share of provincial GDP to the regional economy for the period 2018-2020.

Cagayan de Oro City shares 27.1 percent, closely followed by Bukidnon with a share of 26.2 percent, and Misamis Oriental with a share of 17.6 percent.

Bukidnon is the top contributor in agriculture, forestry, and fishing with a three-year average share of 64.1 percent. Meanwhile, Misamis Oriental shares the largest chunk in the region’s Industry by 28.7 percent.

Cagayan de Oro City has the largest share in the region’s services with a three-year average share of 37.9 percent.
