CAMIGUIN (PIA)--The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Camiguin turned over, February 3, P989,800 worth of shared service facilities (SSF) to the Provincial Government of Camiguin at the Capitol Compound, Pandan, Mambajao, here.

SSF is a flagship project of DTI that aims at improving MSME productivity and efficiency through better access to technology.

The Productivity Improvement of Primary Dairy Processing SSF is composed of 3 units milking machines, 1 unit milk chilling tank, 2 units pneumatic filling machine, 6 pieces milk cans, 1 unit bottle washer, and 2 units showcase chiller.

The said project aims to promote fresh milk production to fight malnutrition in Camiguin and to improve quality and enhance safety standards of the fresh milk production in the province.

The activity was graced by Camiguin Governor Jurdin Jesus M. Romualdo alongside OIC-Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Lordgin Gamo. (DTI-Camiguin/PIA-10/Camiguin)
