ILIGAN CITY --The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Lanao del Norte 2nd District Engineering Office recently turned over a brand new two-storey, eight-classroom school building to the administrators of Suarez Central School in Brgy. Suarez, this city.
In a simple turn-over ceremony, DPWH District Engineer Alykhan Ali handed over the key of responsibility to School Principal Jessica Zamora.
“On behalf of Suarez Central School, we would like to express our gratitude to Congressman Frederick Siao for this beautiful school building. When the pupils come to class after this pandemic, I am sure that they will be very happy to see their much-improved learning environment," said Zamora.
The two-storey building was constructed by H&N Builders and Enterprises for the contract amount of P20.3-million.
“With this new school building, we hope that the young students of Suarez Central School will enjoy coming to school and be more motivated to learn from their inspiring teachers because of this more conducive learning space," said Ali.
