The Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) celebrated the 18th Anniversary of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Act of 2004 with the theme "Celebrating ADR Milestones Amidst Challenging Times" on 04 April 2022 at the Justice Hall of the Department of Justice.
Recorded inspirational messages were delivered by Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III, Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo, OIC Undersecretary-in-Charge for OADR Nicholas Felix Ty, and Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra.
OADR Executive Director V Irene De Torres-Alogoc delivered live the anniversary message for the event. During her speech, Director Alogoc highlighted the notable accomplishments the OADR from the time of its inception up to the present.
Experts in the field of ADR Atty. Luisa Dominique Mauricio, Atty. Dranyl Jared Amoroso, and Atty. Daniel Hofileña were tapped as speakers during the program's "ADR Talk," which was patterned after "Ted Talks" where influential videos from expert speakers on various subjects are posted online by an American media organization.
During the OADR Habi Forum, attendees were invited to exchange their ideas and views with the stakeholders.
Employees of the OADR were also recogized for their valuable contribution and were given a chance to showcase their talent and test their luck in various raffles. (DOJ-OADR)
