Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Davao District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria receives Hungary Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Dr. Titanilla Tóth, at the BOC Davao Compound, Davao City on June 9, 2022, where BOC Davao has expedited the release of an agricultural machinery as a donation for the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) Philrice station in Midsayap, Cotabato Province.  

The Port discussed the needed requirements, permits, and procedure to release international donations as well as its trade activities in its areas of responsibility, border security accomplishments, its top import and export commodities from and to Hungary.   

Attendees of the meeting were Deputy Collector for Operations Atty. Dante A. Maranan, Deputy Collector for Assessment, Atty. Vicente V. Yutangco Jr., and the Philrice Executive Director, Dr. John C. De Leon.  

District Collector, Atty. Austria expressed his gratitude to the said embassy for as it can provide a platform for the Port to share its plans and programs that are designed to spur economic growth in the Davao Region and Mindanao as a whole.  (PR/BOC Davao)
