DILG Camiguin to resume road clearing implementation

CAMIGUIN (PIA)--To level off the understanding relative to the resumption of Road Clearing Implementation in the New Normal, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Camiguin initiated a virtual orientation, July 22.

Local Government Operations Officer Cyrus R. Aguiñot briefed the provincial and municipal planning and development coordinators, chiefs of police, provincial and municipal fire marshals, and Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (MLGOOs) present on the key points of Memorandum Circular No. 2022-085 or the implementation guidelines of road clearing in the new normal.

Additionally, present at the event were representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), who clarified several issues surrounding the Road Inventory and Tree Cutting Permits processes.

Prior to this activity, on July 19, DILG Camiguin Provincial Director Rhona Pedraza-Abadilla was also invited by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Camiguin to discuss the Road Clearing Resumption and CSO Accreditation.

Abadilla emphasized the significance of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in carrying out the aforementioned mandates. (DILG-Camiguin/PIA-10/Camiguin)
