CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)--As an approach for capacitating and enhancing the local government units (LGUs) on their understanding of the various key concepts on Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBME) for LGU Infrastructure Projects (RLIP), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-10 conducted an orientation on the Simultaneous Updating of Project Data in the SubayBAYAN System, and RLIP through Zoom virtual platform, August 10.
DILG-10 Regional Director Arnel M. Agabe highlighted the importance of safeguarding the provision of real-time and accurate information on necessary and basic data of projects in the SubayBayan System.
“Monitoring such systems that the agency continues to provide for the LGUs in streamlining and utilizing RBME is pivotal in the realization of improved and excellent service delivery for the citizenry,” he said.
Discussions during the orientation included (a) the salient provisions of the DILG MC 2022-050 on the Guidelines for the RBME; (b) the implementation process; (c) the requirements for form submission, encoding, validation; (d) creation of logical framework; and (e) the technicalities on the usage of the SubayBAYAN System for uploading of project data and attachments.
At the end of activity, representatives from the LGUs had a guided workshop in utilizing the SubayBAYAN System. They were tasked to upload and update project data and attachments for each of their selected two infrastructure projects.
Present during the orientation are the SubayBAYAN focal persons of the LGUs, DILG field officers, and Project Development Monitoring Unit Regional and Provincial personnel. (DILG-10/PIA-10)
