MAMBAJAO, Camiguin (PIA)--The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Camiguin Provincial Office provided assistance to the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Camiguin in readying necessary documents and requirements for the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) National Calibration.  

DILG Camiguin Provincial Director Rhona Pedraza-Abadilla and Cluster-head Jay Niel C. Anasco reiterated the SGLG procedures, checklists, and other necessary means of verifications to provincial department heads and focal persons during the PLGU-initiated coordinative meeting, August 22.

DILG Camiguin also reminded the department heads and focal persons to make necessary preparations for the conduct of interviews by the national validators.

As the province vies for the SGLG award, Abadilla expressed her utmost support to the provincial government as the province will undergo the said national calibration on September 6.

The SGLG is an institutionalized award and incentive system that encourages LGUs to continuously improve their performance along various governance areas. (DILG-10/PIA-10/Camiguin)
