CAMIGUIN (PIA)--Mirriam Denisse B. Bagolbol from Mambajao National High School wins the 2022 Division Statistics Quiz Bee of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Camiguin Provincial Statistical Office in celebration of the 33rd National Statistics Month. 

The activity was made possible in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Division of Camiguin, and was held, October 25, 2022, at Camiguin Highland Resort.

The competition was attended by 13 senior high school students from different secondary schools in the province. The young participants battled it out in three close-fight rounds. The winners were determined by their cumulative total score at the end of the competition.

Ruj Miko G. Sagocsoc of Camiguin National High School finished second and Regine P. Betonio of Mahinog National High School finished third, who is just one point behind the second place.

All participants, along with their coaches, expressed their enthusiasm and committed to take part in upcoming activities that will assess their students' statistical knowledge while also raising public awareness on the importance of the field of statistics. (PSA-Camiguin/PIA-10/Camiguin)
