The MIMAROPA Regional Project Monitoring Team (RPMT) conducted a four-day field monitoring visit in the province of Occidental Mindoro last October 24-28. The team was composed of representatives from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Office of the President–Presidential Management Staff (OP-PMS), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), and members of the provincial local monitoring committee of Occidental Mindoro.

The RPMT visited various infrastructure projects implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC), Department of Agriculture (DA), and the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).

The team verified the status of the DPWH preventive maintenance port road project in San Jose; widening of permanent bridge in Rizal; construction of flood control structure in Calintaan; Mindoro Cross-Island road project in Sablayan; and ​​​​​​​bridge construction projects in Abra de Ilog. (NEDA)
