CAMIGUIN (PIA)--The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Camiguin distributed tool kits to 25 scholars for cake making (leading to bread and pastry production NC II) at Naasag, Mambajao, here, November 11.

The training was conducted by Provincial Training Center-Camiguin and was represented by Engr. Wilfredo B. Badoy, Jr.

Twenty-four out of 25 starter tool kits were released to the scholars of Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) scholarship.

Aside from the tool kits, the scholars also received free training, assessment, and training allowance from the agency.

The activity was attended by TESDA Camiguin personnel headed by Provincial Director Braulio P. Dela Peña, Jr., Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Shella G. Babanto, Municipal Mayor of Mambajao Yñigo Jesus D. Romualdo, and Stephen Son Cagalitan, who represented the Office of the Congressman. (TESDA/PIA-10/Camiguin)
