TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)--The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) here distributed 33 wheelchairs and 16 artificial legs/prosthetics to persons with disabilities (PWDs), January 12.
The distribution is an annual event put on by the provincial government to help the PWDs and give them a good outlook on life.
Each beneficiary also received food packs: 10 kilos of rice, six cans of sardines, and six cans of meat loaf.
"Mapasalamaton kaayo ko'g dako kay matag tuig nagahatag ang atoang gobyerno sa amoa nga mga PWD. Daghang salamat sa atong Gobernador sa pag-atiman sa amoa," said Gina Baculao, one of the beneficiaries and a resident of Butadon, Kapatagan town.

On behalf of Gov. Imelda "Angging" Dela Cruz Quibranza, Provincial Administrator Lawyer Mark Christopher Babor welcomed all beneficiaries and assured them of the continuous support of the provincial government.
"Sinisiguro ng ating mga leaders na kayo ay mabigyan ng sapat at tamang serbisyo na inyong kailangan. Nawa'y ingatan niyo ito at alagaan," he said.
