DOLE-10 turns over individual starter kits to Oroquieta beneficiaries

OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental--The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-10 Misamis Occidental Provincial Field Office, headed by Provincial Director Ebba B. Acosta in coordination with 1st Congressional District Rep. Jason P. Almonte, turned over DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program starter kits amounting to P500,000 to 17 beneficiaries at P-3 Mobod Covered Court, Oroquieta City, here.

Acosta said that most of the people who will get help are vendors whose jobs have been put on hold while they slowly get back on their feet because of the devastating flooding that hit the whole city.

The accredited co-partner (ACP) of the project is the Oroquieta City Community Affairs for Reforms and Development Programs (OCCARDP), which has been accredited by the DOLE to implement programs and projects using government or public funds.

ACP is responsible for the direct delivery of goods to the target beneficiary.

DILP is part of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP), which is a community-based package of aid that provides displaced employees, underemployed workers, and minimum wage earners with livelihood grants to augment their income. (DOLE-10/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
