92 couples wed in Gingoog City’s "Kasalan ng Bayan"

GINGOOG CITY, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--The Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office (PSA RSSO)-10, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Gingoog City, held its annual mass wedding at the Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School Covered Court, February 14.

Gingoog City Mayor Erick Cañosa officiated the civil wedding of 92 couples, which aimed to underscore and celebrate PSA RSSO-10’s unity administration services.

PSA RSSO-10 Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Janith C. Aves delivered an inspirational message with gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Gingoog City for inviting PSA RSSO 10 to the said event.

Aves emphasized the importance of checking all the information in the Certificate of Marriage before signing the document. She also reminded the couples to register their children's certificates of live birth, which are important documents that are seen as a passport to opportunities in life.

PSA Provincial Office of Misamis Oriental Chief Statistical Specialist Maria Liza M. Bigornia, and Registration Officer II Nelson Mendoza joined the mass civil wedding activity.
