JASAAN, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--The National Irrigation Administration (NIA)-10 strengthens its Risk Management Team as the agency undergoes a three-day training and refresher course on risk management procedures, March 1–3.
The three-day refresher course, which involved orientation in establishing, documenting, and maintaining a procedure for risk management, is in line with the agency’s compliance with the Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015 and preparation for its upcoming 3rd Party audit of the Quality Management System ISO 9000:2015.
"This [activity] is to capacitate the RMTs in understanding the different stages of risk management and its activities and deliverables," NIA 10 Acting Regional Manager Leonila Tenestrante said.
She further mentioned that the refresher course will help members of the RMTs be updated and equipped with knowledge from the identification of risks and opportunities to the preparation of the organizational level Risks and Opportunities Registry (ROR).
NIA will keep working to provide quality services to its clients by making sure its employees are well-trained and putting into place the QMS and ISO 9001:2015. (NIA-10/PIA-10/Misamis Oriental)
