OPOL, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--Three drug personalities were arrested during a buy-bust operation that led to the seizure of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, at Zone 4, Barra, Opol, March 7.
Based on the report of Opol Municipal Police, the suspects were identified as Elmer Incher, Alyasser Incher, and Ryan Mamangcao, all residents of Zone 4 while Allan Ali was able to escape from the scene.
Confiscated during the operation were three large heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, weighing more or less 15.0735 grams with an estimated standard drug price of P102,500, a P500 bill used as buy-bust money, one small pouch, one sling bag, and one.38 caliber pistol with five live ammunition belonging to Allan D. Ali.
The suspects are being held at the Opol Municipal Police Station until they can be booked and dealt with properly.Confiscated items were brought to Regional Field Unit (RFU)-10 for qualitative and quantitative examination.
The Provincial Director of the Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office (MORPPO), Police Colonel Gonzalo Villamor Jr., praised the operating staff for a job well done and told them to keep working hard to get rid of all illegal drugs and reduce the number of high-value targets (HVI) and street-level individuals (SLI) in the province.
