DILG MisOcc equips Lupons for LTIA assessment

OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA)--The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Misamis Occidental conducted the provincial roll-out of the Department’s Memorandum Circular No. 2023-022: Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) Enhanced Criteria and Guidelines, March 16, via Zoom.

The activity aimed to equip all Lupon chairmen and secretaries, especially the potential nominees in the search for the next Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa (Lupon), as well as the City and Municipal Local Government Operations Officers in the province, with a uniform understanding of its new features and implementation strategies.

Provincial Director Pablio L. Benitez lauds all Lupons in the province for their relentless efforts and exemplary performance in resolving disputes and maintaining peace and harmony in their respective barangays.

Cluster Head and Tangub City Local Government Operations Officer Sanivier G. Patoc and LGOO II Hana Rea T. Pagapong, JD were the resource speakers. They talked about the most important parts of the memorandum circular and the LTIA enhanced criteria, respectively.

LTIA is a search that happens once a year to find the Outstanding Lupon. This person has to be able to handle cases quickly and wisely, as well as show exemplary performance and commendable contribution to the promotion and implementation of Katarungang Pambarangay.
