MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL -- To evaluate the performance and recognize the consistent efforts of its Field Officers, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Misamis Occidental conducted its CY 2023 1st Quarter Assessment on April 19, 2023, at Manuel Resort, Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte.
The DILG Provincial Management conferred the TRAILblazer Award to all City and Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (C/MLGOOs) garnering a score of 90 percent and above as of March 2023 in line with the set Regional Parangal Awards criteria of DILG 10.
DILG 10 Regional Director Wilhelm M. Suyko joined the activity as the guest of honor and cited the tireless efforts of the awardees of the highly trusted department.
Provincial Director Pablio L. Benitez Jr. explained the motto of the TRAILblazing Award - “No one shall be left behind”.
“We believe, as per our discussion and agreement, that we will change the mindset of a competition, that we are now in the age of collaboration and cooperation,” he said.
Benitez emphasized that the award is a manifestation of the commitment of DILG Misamis Occidental coming out as one of the top-performing provinces in Region 10 in the compliance of the monitoring reports and program, projects, and activities (PPAs) implementation in the 1st quarter of CY 2023.
