CAMIGUIN (PIA)--Camiguin Water Company has announced the appointment of Jonathan Sarsonas as its new general manager.

Sarsonas is a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Sto. Tomas and has over 10 years of experience in the water industry. He is an expert in facility management and network operations, making him a valuable addition to the company's team.

Sarsonas' appointment follows the departure of former General Manager Danvir Farnazo. The company has extended its appreciation to Farnazo for his dedication and hard work in leading the company towards success.

In his new role, Sarsonas will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations and ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and equitable water supply services to the people of Camiguin. 

The company assures its customers and stakeholders that the transition will be as smooth as possible and that its commitment to providing quality services remains steadfast.

In a statement, Sarsonas expressed his excitement for his new role and said, "Providing access to clean water is a basic human right, and I am honored to lead Camiguin Water Company in fulfilling this responsibility. Camiguin Water Company has been providing water supply services to the people of Camiguin since November 2022. Less than a year into operation, the company operated an additional water supply system, extending its services to the unserved areas of Mahinog and Mambajao. With Sarsonas' expertise and leadership, the company is confident that it can continue to improve its services and achieve its goals.
