CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Midoro (PIA) --The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Oriental Mindoro District Engineering Office successfully completed the concreting of a 442-linear meter farm-to-market road (FMR) at Barangay Tagumpay in the  Naujan town, Oriental Mindoro.

The 9.7 million worth of project is expected to help connect agricultural and fisheries areas to markets and allow local producers to transport their goods to traders and consumers. 

The completed FMR seeks to benefit the grassroots economy and empower local farmers in the municipality by providing low cost of transportation of farm products and increase their profits.

The project also guarantees safe and convenient travel for locals and motorists by providing better and efficient road, giving them better employment opportunities and improves quality of life in rural communities. (PIA-DPWH OrMin PR)
