DAVAO CITY – Emigrants from Mindanao will have easier access to the frontline pre-departure services of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) with the re-opening of its extension office in Davao City.
Established on 16 June 1980 through Batas Pambansa 79, the CFO is an agency under the Office of the President tasked to promote and uphold Filipino immigrants' interests, rights, and welfare and strengthen their ties with their home country.
The CFO-Davao Office is now located at Unit 309, 3rd floor, Pink Walters Building, Quimpo Boulevard, Ecoland, Davao City. It will officially re-open to serve the public on Monday, 22 May 2023.
The public is advised that attendance to the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) and Guidance and Counseling Program (GCP) is strictly by appointment only, and requests for specific time slots will not be entertained.
Walk-ins are available for senior citizens, pregnant women (with medical certification), PWD (must have PWD ID), and minors aged 12 and below.
