CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)--The National Economic and Development Authority Region (NEDA)-10 commenced activities for the formulation of the Regional Development Investment Program (RDIP) 2023–2028, May 24.
The activity started with a handholding workshop for participating agencies, state universities and colleges, and other government entities on the generation of proposed programs, activities, and projects.
The Department of Agriculture-10, Department of Public Works and Highways-10, Department of Trade and Industry-10, and the Department of Tourism-10 also provided an orientation on various road convergence guidelines.
RDC-10 Vice-Chairperson and NEDA-10 Regional Director Mylah Faye Aurora B. Cariño emphasized that the RDIP actualizes the means to attain the strategies in the Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023–2028 toward achieving desired regional development outcomes.
She also enjoined the participants to be creative in identifying game-changing, catalytic, transformational, and trailblazing programs and projects for the RDIP 2023–2028 that will facilitate economic transformation for Northern Mindanao.
The RDIP 2023–2028 is a companion document to the RDP 2023–2028, which contains a rolling list of priority programs and projects that will support the attainment of the region’s development goals for the period 2023–2028. (NEDA-10/PIA-10)
