This number is expected to increase after the declaration of a State of Calamity in the entire province due to the continuous threat of Mayon eruption.

Classes in the abovementioned towns, especially those in close proximity to the danger zone, have already been suspended.

In the report released by the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) through Regional Director Claudio Yucot, a total of 267 rockfall events and two volcanic earthquakes caused by the Mayon Volcano unrest were recorded from June 5 to June 8.
