CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro -- “Ka Sonny”, 27, a former communist rebel has voluntarily surrendered to the personnel of the 405th B Maneuver Company, RMFB 4B in Barangay Santo Niño, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro on June 16, 2023.

The police report revealed that at about 10:00 AM, “Ka Sonny”, who is a former member under Komiteng Larangang Gerilya, Mark Anthony Velasco, SRMA4D, voluntarily surrendered with assistance from the members of 104 SAC, 10SAB, PNP-SAF; Occidental Mindoro Provincial Intelligence Unit; 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company; Rizal MPS; PIT-Occidental Mindoro, RIU-4B; 23 MICO, 68th IB, 2ID, Philippine Army; RID MIMAROPA; and RID, NCRPO.

The surrenderee is now under the supervision of the Intelligence personnel of 405th B MC RMFB and will be assisted in the processing of the Enhanced Comprehensive and Local Integration Program (E- CLIP). (PRO Mimaropa)
