The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Mimaropa has welcomed its new Regional Director, Engr. Felizardo A. Gacad, Jr., in a turnover ceremony held at the MGB Mimaropa Conference Room on July 12, 2023.

Pursuant to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Special Order No. 2023-420, Gacad has been assigned to the Mimaropa Regional Office, while outgoing Mimaropa Regional Director Glenn Marcelo C. Noble has been transferred to MGB Regional Office VIII.

In his speech, Gacad talked about the importance of living by the principles of discipline, excellence, nobility, and responsibility, and coming and working together to help each other achieve victories and milestones.

“Let us continue the tradition of working together and bringing out the best in everything that we do,” Gacad said.

For his part, Noble extended his appreciation to all MGB MIMAROPA staff and employees, and wishes everyone’s full support and assistance to the incoming Regional Director.

Among the officials present during the turnover ceremony were DENR Asec. Nonita S. Caguioa (Finance, Information Systems and Mining Concerns) and DENR Mimaropa OIC Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Maximo C. Landrito. (MGB)
