ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-10, through its Lanao del Norte Provincial Field Office (LDN PFO), conducted an on-site Technical and Advisory Visit (TAV) training for micro-establishments.
LDN PFO labor inspectors (LIs) and assistant labor Inspectors (ALIs) administered the TAV training to guide and assist the micro-establishments in being compliant with labor laws.
Under the TAV, LIs and ALIs provide micro-establishments with labor education to enhance their knowledge of DOLE General Labor Standards (GLS), Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), the Child and Family Welfare Program, and other social regulations.
Senior Labor and Employment Officer Roselito R. Rosales said the free training gathers employers of microenterprises, ensuring continuity and sustainability of workplace compliance.
The activity catered to 46 micro-establishment participants for Batch 1, and more sessions in the succeeding weeks are expected until the target number of participants is reached.
TAV is part of DOLE’s administration and enforcement of the labor standards and other labor laws under Department Order No. 238, series of 2023, or the Rules on the Administration and Enforcement of Labor Standards under Article 128 of the Labor Code of the Philippines, as Renumbered, and Republic Act No. 11058.
It also includes labor inspections and occupational safety and health investigations. (DOLE-10/PIA-10/Lanao del Norte)
