The event, held under the banner of the Mindanao Riders Philippines (MRP) and the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) beneficiaries, showcased a collaborative effort between the local government and various organizations.
Under the leadership of Mayor Jojo Dacer Roa and the Action Man Agenda program, the tree planting activity was organized as part of the broader initiative to strengthen and conserve the natural world.
The event's success resonated with the commitment of every participant, who shared the vision of protecting and nurturing the environment.
The initiative received approval and support from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), which generously provided seedlings for the tree planting activity.
Approximately 250 trees were planted in designated areas, further fortifying the region's green cover. The collaboration between the Barangay Council of Penacio and various stakeholders ensured the smooth execution of this eco-conscious endeavor.
