TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA)--Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal vowed to continuously develop the province’s essential main infrastructure, like roads, bridges, ports, and airports, to "bring Misamisnons closer together."
In his effort to fast-track the development of roads in the province, Oaminal met with DPWH Second District Engineer OIC Carol Lyn Abinales, Assistant District Engineer OIC Melquusedec Cariaga III, Construction Department Acting Chief Joel Jalem, Planning Department Acting Chief Charito Megriño, and Provincial Engineer Ophelia Gorre, September 25, to check the overall status of the programs and projects of the national and provincial roads.
He also wanted to address issues and concerns about the previous projects of 2020–2022 in District 2 to give the best services to the community.
The improvement of physical connectivity will always be a vital facet of the province’s development efforts, as outlined in the administration’s Asenso Administration.
He urged them to complete and concrete all the barangay roads in the province. He also committed to providing support and help to the department with whatever concerns and problems to prioritize the projects of the province.
He immediately directed the departments to conduct an inventory of the projects that would address the immediate concerns of rural areas.
Oaminal plans to lead the inauguration of the improving growth and development of the province.
The provincial government has committed to institutionalizing more reforms in the implementation of road projects to ensure that they bring genuine development to local communities as part of the flagship programs of Second District Representative Sancho Fernando Oaminal and Governor Oaminal.
