BONIFACIO, Misamis Occidental (PIA)—About 1,430 residents of Bonifacio town in the province of Misamis Occidental benefitted from the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.
The cash aid also aims to sustain the needs of the poor and vulnerable residents of the town, whose welfare is among the concerns of the Municipality of Bonifacio, led by Acting Mayor Ricky Bulahan, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental under the leadership of Gov. Henry Oaminal.
A total of P9 million in aid was released during the activity, and each of the beneficiaries got P3,000 in cash assistance. Bulahan helped residents through a program to provide aid, especially during times of crisis.
Oaminal commends the leadership of Mayor Ricky Bulahan for the good management and governance of the town of Bonifacio.
It serves as the social safety net or a stop-gap mechanism to support the recovery of individuals and families from unexpected crises such as the price increase of rice and other crisis situations. (PGMO/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
