The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in collaboration with the local government of Puerto Galera, successfully distributed Certificate of Live Birth in Security Paper (SECPA) under the Philsys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP).

This distribution, held at the Municipal Building of Puerto Galera on December 19, 2023, catered PBRAP beneficiaries from Barangay Balatero, Poblacion, and Sabang.

The primary objective of this initiative was to provide these beneficiaries with secure and essential documentation critical for legal and identification purposes.

Through the joint efforts of PSA and the local government of Puerto Galera, the project aimed to ensure that every individual had access to accurate birth records.

The distribution of Certificate of Live Birth in SECPA to the beneficiaries signifies a significant step forward in the PBRAP, emphasizing the commitment to providing citizens with reliable documentation, essential for their rights and identification needs.

The successful distribution spearheaded by Registration Officer II Jomery Ann M. Navarro of PSA oriental Mindoro together with Ms. Marites Maniebo of Municipal Civil Registry Office of Puerto Galera the said activity at the Municipal Building of Puerto Galera marks a milestone in the journey towards ensuring that all citizens have access to accurate and secure birth documentation.
