Allowance distribution for 50 coconut farmers scholars in Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte

A total of 50 scholars in Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte, received their allowances under the Coconut Farmer Scholarship Program on January 8, 2024

These scholars underwent intensive training in Produce Organic Vegetables (leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II) and Raise Organic Small Ruminants (leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II) at the Asset-Based Community Development with Equity Foundation, Inc. in Villahermosa, Polanco Zamboanga del Norte.

The distribution event was successfully spearheaded by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Office, showcasing the commitment to empowering local communities through education and skill development.

The ceremony marked a significant step toward sustainable agriculture and economic upliftment in Polanco.
