The Philippine Statistics Office of Occidental Mindoro was recently awarded as the top performing PSO for September 2023.

The award was given to recognize its efforts for achieving a high percentage in the number of registrees under the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration. It was received by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Mimaropa Regional Director Leni Rioflorido in Eton Centris Cyberpod Five, Quezon City.

Based on the office’s performance for said month, PSO Occidental Mindoro reached the highest weekly increase of 319 percent, nationwide.

Furthermore, it also accomplished a milestone by registering 414,932 individuals in the province last December 31, 2023.

The mentioned number of registered individuals is 90 percent of its target of 463, 417.

PSA Occidental Mindoro Philippine Identification System will continue its commitment to achieve its target of registering every individual in the province.
