MANILA -- Vice President and Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sara Duterte joined with thousands of Filipinos in the kick-off rally of the “Bagong Pilipinas” campaign of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
The Vice President arrived at the Quirino Grandstand before 4:00 pm Sunday where she was warmly welcomed by the energetic crowd and gamely posed for selfies.
Vice President Duterte declared she supports the Bagong Pilipinas campaign especially in the poverty alleviation sector.
Just like the Vice President, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Maria Yulo Loyzaga also expressed her support to the Bagong Pilipinas campaign, saying it is “science-driven.”
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel Bonoan echoed the sentiments of Vice President Duterte and Secretary Loyzaga, saying that Bagong Pilipinas for them is to ensure livable environment.
