TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Aug. 11 (PIA) -- Gisuspenso sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang gipamub-an o shortened quarantine period alang sa mga indibidwal nga moabot sa nasod nga fully vaccinated na apan nagka-close contact sa posibleng positibo sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Matud pa sa pahayag ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque nga imbes nga pito ka adlaw, ibalik na sa 14 ka adlaw ang facility-based quarantine.

Kini matud pa, base sa protocol nga gihikyad sa Department of Health (DOH) aron mapugngan na usab ang pagkuyanap sa COVID-19.

“The decision to temporarily suspend said protocol is part of the continued implementation of proactive measures to slow down the surge in COVID-19 cases and to stop the further spread of the variants (Ang hukom sa temporaryo nga pagsuspenso kabahin sa nagpadayon nga pagpatuman sa mga proactive measures aron pahinayon ang sugwak sa COVID-19 ug apugngan ang paglipang pa sa mga variants)," pahayag pa ni Roque.

“Close contacts who remain asymptomatic for at least 14 days from the date of exposure can discontinue their quarantine. In the event that they develop symptoms or test positive for coronavirus, they shall be isolated and shall be admitted and treated in an appropriate facility,” dugang pa ni Roque.

Kadtong close contacts nga nagpabilin nga walay gipakita nga simtomas sulod sa 14 ka adlaw gikan sa pagkaduol niya sa tawo nga nasakit sa COVID, mahimo na nga molibkas sa iyang pagkwarantina. Sa higayon hinuon nga magpakita sila og timailhan sa sakit, o magpositibo sa COVID, ilain na sila ug ipasulod sa tukma nga quarantne facility.
