TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)--Some 1,200 free-range chickens and feeds were distributed to 30 cooperatives in the province as part of the Provincial Government's Alternative Livelihood Program for COVID-19 Affected Cooperatives.
The 30 cooperatives represent the last batch of the 106 target beneficiaries of the program.
The distribution was spearheaded by the Provincial Cooperative Office on Wednesday, August 11, completing the dispersal of 4,240 free-range chickens.
"Finally, we have completed the dispersal of our free-range chicken, feeds, and vitamins to a total of 106 cooperative beneficiaries. Rest assured, more programs from the PGLDN are in store for our local cooperatives," said Provincial Cooperative Officer Minda Regis.
She also expressed gratitude to the Provincial Government for providing support to the cooperatives in the province especially those adversely affected by the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. (APB/PIA-ICIC)
