28 LDS school districts receive riso machines from BARMM

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--As support to the continuity of education amidst the health crisis, the Bangsamoro government through the Office of Member of the Parliament (MP) Maisara Damdamun-Latiph turned over Friday, August 20, risograph machines to 28 school districts in Lanao del Sur including Marawi City,

The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education purchased the digital duplicator machines which was part of MP Latiph's Transitional Impact Development Fund (TDIF).

Latiph said her office specially allocated a budget for the machines as she learned that these were not given a budget.

She said the machines are considered the lifeblood of the schools especially at this time of the pandemic where modules will be used in the delivery of education.

The MP said that apart from the 28 risograph machines, seven more will also be received by the remaining school districts in the coming days.

"I hope itong naturnover natin (machines) ay makatulong at mainspire kayo na gawin ang best ninyo para sa education," she said as she urged them to take good care of the machines.
