LDS school districts convey gratitude for riso machines

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--Schools Division Superintendents (SDS) here extended their utmost appreciation to the Office of Member of the Parliament (MP) Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph for donating 28 risograph machines to school districts in the province.

Marawi City SDS Dr. Anna Zenaida Unte extended her gratitude for the machines which she found timely in this time of pandemic as her division still gears for modules as the mode of delivery of their learning continuity plan for this school year.

“Ang pinakaimportanteng gamit na kailangan aside from contextualizing the modules, dapat ay naiimprinta itong different subjects na ito [The most important thing that we need aside from contextualizing the modules, these different subjects should be printed] and how can we do it if we lack materials like this risograph and other printing materials. It is very timely and si Atty. Maisara, our beloved MP, ang kauna-unahang Bangsamoro official na nagbigay sa amin ng risograph [is the first-ever Bangsamoro official who gave us the risograph],” she said.

Unte said the risograph machines will help continue the education for their learners as these play a vital role in producing learning materials.

She also assured the MP that they will do their best in alleviating the delivery of education.

Lanao del Sur-II Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Rubina Macabunar and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Samina Mamao also thanked Latiph for giving machines to the school districts under their division

“Dahil sa tulong niya, sisikapin na walang oras na binigay sa amin sa pagtuturo na hindi namin bibigyan ng kahalagahan. Gagawin po namin sa abot ng aming makakaya para suportahan ang goal na "no children in this BARMM will be left behind" at para maibalik namin ang kabutihang ibinigay ni MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latip sa mga eskwelahan namin,” said Macabunar.

[Because of her help, we will strive that no time she gave us in teaching will not be given importance. We will do our best to support the goal which is no children in this BARMM will be left behind and so that we can give back to MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph her kindness for our schools.]

Lanao del Sur-I Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Sahanee Sumagayan conveyed as well her gratefulness for the effort spared for education as the machines were the ever-wanted desire of the teachers in the division in this time of health crisis.

“Siguradong magkakaroon tayo ng quality education. Maiaangat po kahit kaunti ang quality ng ating education dahil sa panahon ng pandemya, kung wala itong mga module na sasagutin ng mga bata, mahihirapan po silang intindihin ang kanilang mga lesson,” she said.

[We will surely have a quality education. The quality of the education will be somehow alleviated because, in this time of the pandemic, if the modules which the learners will answer are not available, they will have a hard time understanding their lessons.]

The 28 risograph machines were purchased by the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education through MP Latiph's Transitional Impact Development Fund. Seven more machines are expected to be added in the coming days. (CRG/PIA-10/ICIC Lanao del Sur)
